Grower + Producer Opportunities
Double Opportunity for Local Growers: Picked in Page CSA + Downtown Luray Farmers Market This spring brings two exciting opportunities for Page County farmers, producers, and makers to expand sales, increase visibility, and strengthen our local food system—through the launch of Picked in Page and a new Downtown Luray Farmers Market.
Opportunity One: Partner with Picked in Page
Picked in Page is a new hybrid CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) pilot designed to serve both local residents and the many visitors who come to our region. The program pairs fresh, locally produced food with a curated regional experience that highlights Page County’s agricultural strengths and tourism appeal.
Picked in Page partners with local growers to supply high-quality products for CSA share boxes that are:
Sold to residents and visitors
Distributed through pop-up markets, workplace wellness programs, and mobile delivery to high-traffic hubs
Participation is designed to be grower-friendly. As a contributing producer, you are paid for your products and simply need to:
Submit a weekly product list and pricing
Deliver goods to a designated packing and distribution site (location to be announced)
Picked in Page manages all marketing, sales, and logistics with no market staffing or customer management required thus, allowing growers to stay focused on production.
What makes Picked in Page unique is its community impact. Proceeds from CSA sales are reinvested to support:
Affordable or free food boxes for low-income families
Expanded food access across the region
A stronger, more resilient local food economy
This not-for-profit pilot is made possible through support from Valley Health’s Community Partnership Grant.
Opportunity Two: Downtown Luray Farmers Market
In addition to Picked in Page, the Women’s Committee of the Page County Farm Bureau is launching a new Farmers Market in the heart of downtown Luray. The market will offer:
High visibility and foot traffic
Easy access and ample parking
A vibrant setting to showcase your produce and wares
The market will be held every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Growers interested in participating are encouraged to attend the Growers Meeting on January 28th.
